Pouring from every Pore
I noticed how everyone’s perception on love is different. So I thought I should give my idea of love. Love is truth. Love is your family. Love is your friends. Love is opening the door Love is the warm covers that hold you tight in the night. Love is the trees, the grass, and the ever-flowing waterfall of life. Love is every person that crosses your path and changes your life with nothing but a simple smile, a simple word. Love is a kiss. Love is a hug. Love is listening. Love is responding with heart. Love is acceptance. Love is a feeling when a companion enters your life and fills it with words of wisdom, with care, with acceptance of who you are, with morning kisses on the forehead, and with webs of steal as they wait for bad emotions to arise and wrapping it in love and draining it of every drop of energy. Love is war, death, crime, depression, fear, sorrow, and loneliness for making love so loving. Love is reality. Love is dream. Love is in between. Love is seeing eyes filled to the brim of tears consisting only of love. Love is knowing. Love is seeing love. Love is hearing love. Love is seeing children dance and play as they forget the troubles of the world. Love is hating the fact of not being able to hate. Love is loving. Love is being loved. Love is stars for filling in the black spaces. Love is the sun for lighting up the faces torn and jaded of not being loved. Love is the night for shading all the imperfections of men’s creations and the moon for making the rest sparkle like diamonds. Love is everything and everyone. Love is the world. Love is the universe.
BUT true love is having a big enough heart to love the entire world for every aspect good and bad, every leaf on every tree, every abusive father that’s so far trapped in his own insecurities and fear of the world and hatred of not being accepted by his own abusive father, every mother who sticks by his side in patience and hope for a better love filled with care and acceptance, and every child that’s lost. Having a big enough heart to look for the love within everyone, whether being drowned by darkness or flowing out of every pore, and trying to bring that out. That is true love.
Basically true, however, we do not love the evil in the world. We love the people because they are created in the image of God. Where we can we should help people no matter where they are in life and ease the pain we all suffer. However, we should never accept evil, it was not meant to be and we must realize that it is our own selfishness and evil acts that cause the evil in this world. Whether it is our own neglect, not taking responsibility for our actions, or through our own selfish acts and in doing harm to other. Evil can be overcome, we just have the will and fortitude to do what is good and right. God is not the author of evil and he has nothing to do with it. He, however, allows evil, because he gave us a will, and we can either do good or eivl with that will.
"God is not the author of evil"? God IS the author of evil and of good. There is a very thin line from "good" and "evil". And please do not shed your religion on me...1:I study religions 2:Im a philosopher 3: Your very narrow-minded and one sided. Go stand on a pole 100 feet high and put 30 pounds of "good" on your right arm. Cheers
Exactly what was wrong with what I said. I never thought taking responsibility for ones actions or acting unselfishly was a bad thing. I'd like to know why you think it is? And I don't give a shit that you are a philosopher - doesn't prove much to me especially when you respond with such hatred and vindictiveness. Sounds like you're the one who is narrow minded and adding to the hate that is already in this world.
Oh and another thing,
"put 30 pounds of "good" on your right arm. Cheers"
Good doesn't weigh anything - lifts the burdens off your shoulders, but evil weighs you down.
eek. point fot you. i hope mike finds a counter for that.
O gee thanks, we'll see what he has to say about that one. :)
We love the people because they are created in the image of God.
so like i'm gonna go kick a puppy now.
cause like it's not in god's image or anything.
Boy you are uptight aren't you? Good nomiker for you. Whoever said anything about kicking anything. Animals are God's creation as well, and all of creation needs to be respected. Get a life already, and stop reading into things that are not there.
i was kidding, lovely. don't worry. i may not agree (entirely) with what you say but i will defend with my life your right to say it.
Thank you, and my apologies for a snarky reply. That's not usually my way. Was having a bad day. Have a great weekend. :)
That seemed a bit nasty...I apologize but then again I dont. Anyways my point is "evil" is always going to be "evil" unless good and evil work together, they do work together karmically but in the hearts and the minds of the people they don't. Just like science and spirituality....
Evil is never a good thing, but God does work all things together for good for those who live according to His purposes.
Sorry, got my religion in there. But we are what we are, and I will speak from my perspective, just like you speak from yours. If you post anything publically, then be prepared to hear a difference of opinion. Have a great day. Love your tiger. :)
"evil" is always going to be "evil" unless good and evil work together," - sorry good and evil can't work together - they are opposite poles of a magnet - good must overcome evil.

Love was reading your Love. Hi, I'm Nishamaya - I just joined Live Journal tonight and happened to stumble across what you wrote. I was blown away. I thought I was the only one who thought and felt like that. Would it be okay if I added you to my friend list?
Hey man I read the post and all the great comments back on forth. I wanted to point out however that while u wrote alot about love trying to define it, u never really said what it is. All the things ure saying love is are actually things are a result of love at their best. they all have negative components. truth can hurt, family can be dysfunctional, the opening door can be to a path of death.
Love itself has been left undefined, nor do i have the guff to try and define it so I wont bother. I would like to say, that in truth everything is a result of an act of Loving Kindness. An act of Love is something bestowed upon one who would normally not deserve it.
This is how everything we experience is truly an act of love, even the things that we perceive as being evil to our limited senses. after all, scrutinze everything we'd call evil and inevitably it would be our own shortsightedness that would be the reason we name an action evil.
Of course I don't expect anyone to agree. this is simply how I perceive reality.
Re: good stuff... but,
AHHHH someone with a mind...holy shit. Very true I do agree, but as you were disagreeing with me you agreed with me. See the truth is you can explain perception it just is what it is. THe human understanding of things is limited by there own expierence. SO I put things down that I thought people could cling to some form of understanding to what I mean. It might not be right to me, but that's not who I made this for. A love of the perceived shadow? Not to downgrade spiritualist and hippies but they say in the begining there was one form of energy, love. Love split into three spirit, love, matter and then into seven(forgot what they are). the love they are talking about is nothing at all. It's not there.
(I hope you catch onto the last thing I said and od not misinterprate me.)
THank you for your comment. It pleased me.
